Ortons has a been a tool and warranty repairer for 30 years and we stock a large range of spare parts. Our qualified service technicians have been trained in the latest tool technologies and are continually improving their knowledge on all types of tools.
If you have purchased an power, air or gas tool from an online store we will not accept it. You are advised to return that tool to the place you have purchased it. However, if you have purchased the tool locally in Western Australia we will accept it as long as you have your receipt or proof of purchase. All warranty claims can take up 2 weeks, so be prepared for a wait.
IN HOUSE WARRANTY
All tool repairs undertaken by Ortons have a one month warranty period.
If you request a cost on the repair of a tool there is an INSPECTION fee of $44.00. This fee is to cover any work undertaken in the event you do not proceed. If you do proceed with the repair the INSPECTION fee is waived and you are charged the normal labour fee.
FAILURE TO COLLECT TOOL
From time to time customers have had their tool repaired and for what ever reason they fail to collect it. If the tool has not been collected within one month of the repair and letter will be forwarded to the address on our system, or if we have no address we will telephone and send an SMS. If the tool has not been collected within a month of the requests being sent we will sell the tool to recover our costs.
